List of eIPO Service Providers for the MTR Privatisation Share Offer

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has been informed that the following securities dealers and exempt dealers/banks intend to provide the eIPO services in relation to the MTR public offer and some may provide websites through which investors can make application.

In order to take part in the MTR Privatisation Share Offer, these institutions have successfully completed the necessary data conformity test with Central Registration Hong Kong Limited, being the share registrar of the MTR Privatisation Share Offer, in accordance with the standards and procedures set by the Federation of Share Registrars Limited.

Investors should note that application and payment methods may vary between different eIPO service providers and that some may require physical cheques for application moneys to be lodged. Investors who want to use eIPO services, in particular with respect to applications made over the Internet, should note that it is desirable to apply early so as to avoid delays that might occur if there are a large number of applications on the last day.
